Expanding our Help

We’ve had so many great visitors and contacts from the site in recent weeks! It’s been great to meet so many from all across the country. I only wish we were meeting under better circumstances. Despite the circumstances, I praise God we’re all connecting.

As a result of so many connections, we’re realizing more and more things we need to add to the site to accommodate the broken couples who are contacting us. In the last 24 hours, we’ve taken user ideas to create two new pages:

  1. Desperate for Help
  2. Couples Coaching

We created the “Desperate for Help” page to to do exactly what it says, help those who are desperate for help. We are receiving a tremendous number of hits from people typing some pretty tough things into search engines to find us. We know people are hurting and pray this page, as it develops, can help people find answers as God heals the deep wounds they’re dealing with now. If you have any articles, audio clips, etc. that you think might be helpful to our readers, feel free to send them our way. We’d love to look stuff over and add them as we feel they fit the need.

As well, we’ve added information about Couples Coaching. We’ve been coaching couples for the last couple of years and feel God pushing for us to make this a regular part of our ministry for all of you. We’ve watched God do some astonishing things through the coaching and are excited to offer it to a broader audience now.

Check out both of the pages as we’re expanding our work and effort to help as many struggling marriages as we possibly can. As Paul talks about in his letter to the church at Philippi, we have a “genuine interest” in you, your faith, and marriage, and pray these tools will help on a bigger level.

God bless you all!

  1. It has truly been a blessing and an honor to get to know Derek and Lisa.
God led me to them on one very painful morning.

I know what it feels like to be betrayed by someone who I never imagined would do something so terrible and selfish.
I know what it feels like to wonder how something like this could have ever happened.
I know what it feels like to desperately want someone to talk with that has been through this same kind of pain.
I also know that I could not have ever gotten through this without Jesus Christ.
Thank you Derek for helping me to realize that I need to deny myself, take up my cross and follow Jesus!

  2. Thanks for the kind words, Jason. I’m very encouraged by the work God has done in the two of you and your progress in the faith. Your willingness to let God be Master and Lord, is a powerful example for others. Praise God!
